Supervises the day-to-day operations of clinical dietitians and technicians, provides direct patient care, and oversees nutrition software updates. Responsibilities include planning and delivering nutrition care for patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics. The supervisor manages nutrition care independently, following medical staff-approved policies.

The role includes performing at the level of a Clinical Dietitian III, demonstrating broad clinical expertise, leadership, and mentorship within the department. The position embodies Memorial Health System's standards of Safety, Quality, Integrity, and Stewardship.

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Illinois licensure as a Licensed Dietitian.

• At least four years of clinical dietetics experience in an acute care setting.
• Two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience in developing nutrition care plans for complex patients.

• Preferred: 36+ hours of specialized continuing education.
• Self-directed with excellent communication skills.

• Lead safety, quality, integrity, and stewardship initiatives.
• Manage daily operations and staff scheduling.
• Maintain and update nutrition-related software.
• Participate in research, policy development, and compliance.
• Develop department plans, budgets, and oversee staff recruitment and training.
• Provide direct patient care up to 50% of the time, including assessments and education.
• Engage in specialty areas such as Cardiac Rehab, Heart Failure, LVRS, Dialysis, Radiation Oncology, and Rehab, providing targeted nutrition services.
