The CT Technologist performs quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. Operates CT and X-ray equipment and processes images as required. Prepares CT room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated for the procedure/exam being performed. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams and ensures his/her direct reports and other staff members follow the same precautions. Maintains safe environment for patients, co-workers and visitors.

Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals. Provides services to all age groups (infant to geriatric).

What you will do in this role:

• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• MRT State Licensure (TMB)
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)(R)(CT); if associate does not hold ARRT(CT) registration, associate shall obtain within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of cross-training program.
• One year of CT experience preferred.
