bJob Overview:b The Manufacturing Engineer will provide first responder support to operations for the Lower Powertrain (LPT) Assembly team. This role ensures that assembly processes meet safety, quality, velocity, and cost targets through effective documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain standard work, process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans, and visual aids.
- Provide on‑site assembly line support, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Create purchase requisitions, tool orders, and requests for estimates.
- Perform time studies and develop safe job procedures.

Education:
b Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred). - b
Experience:
b 2+ years in manufacturing engineering or assembly support (preferred). - bTechnical
Skills:
b CAD proficiency, blueprint reading, process documentation. - b
Soft Skills:
b Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and teamwork. - 50% factory floor (PPE required), 50% office setting.
