Manufacturing / Pinpoint Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Pinpoint Engineer to support assembly planning and execution for Building Construction Products and Earthmoving Equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Pinpoint application setup and integration, along with hands‑on experience in assembly line optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide assembly planning support for Building Construction and Earthmoving equipment.
• Set up Assembly Value Streams in Pinpoint, including Sections, Stations, Zones, and Assembly operations.
• Configure Pinpoint with Torque tools, fixtures, and in‑process validation (IPV) checks.
• Integrate Torque tools, sockets, and quality inspection devices with Pinpoint to enhance preventive controls and interlock mechanisms.
• Implement Andon process integration with Pinpoint and develop dashboards for station/zone metrics (Cycle time, Material downtime, Tool/Fixture downtime).
• Work with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MESA) for assembly operations.
• Update Standard Work and Visual Work Instructions per established guidelines.
• Drive Continuous Improvement projects to improve throughput and quality, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
• Support manufacturing operations by providing tooling, processes, and equipment to meet shop needs.
• Establish standards and collaborate with shop personnel to resolve process, tooling, and equipment issues.

• 10+ years total experience in Manufacturing/Assembly Engineering.
• Mandatory Pinpoint experience in setting up assembly lines and integrating tools.
• Strong knowledge of Assembly Value Streams, Torque tools, fixtures, IPV checks, and Andon systems.
• Familiarity with MESA systems and production tracking dashboards.
• Expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, VSM).
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
