Laboratory Technician – Swing Shift

Location: Decatur, IL

Pay Rate: $20/hour

• 2 days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2 days: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 1 day: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Weekend and holiday work required when scheduled)

Perform laboratory testing on in-process and finished product samples to ensure quality and specification compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Collect and test production samples following documented procedures
• Analyze and report test results and deviations to Operations
• Perform daily verification of lab instruments
• Maintain accurate documentation and sample records
• Participate in equipment cleaning verification, including ATP swabbing
• Communicate effectively during shift handoffs
• Maintain lab cleanliness and inventory

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate’s degree preferred
• Analytical lab experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to safely handle chemicals
