Overview- Sign-On Bonus Offered***
Performs nursing care procedures involving initial patient assessment, evaluation, and preliminary testing to meet patient needs; assists Physician with the care of patient.
Qualifications- Current CPR card.
- Strong computer skills for documentation purposes in the electronic medical record.
- Must possess good nursing assessment and judgment skills.
- Must have good communication skills and documentation skills.
- Must have the ability and desire to function well with providers, nursing staff, and outside health care agencies and providers.
- Must readily understand verbal and written instructions; must be able to explain them clearly to patients.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
- Ability to adjust actions in relation to others' actions.
- Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Ability to watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Adaptability – Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; accepts criticism and feedback; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; works under pressure and on an irregular schedule such as unscheduled overtime, unanticipated changes in work pace; works with numerous distractions.

Must possess a current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse certification. Must be a graduate of an approved school of practical nursing. Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.
