Medical Surgical Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) position located at the healthcare facility. This role involves providing acute care for adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions, utilizing telemetry, and managing complex neurological and surgical cases. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to clinical protocols in a level II trauma center.

• Position / Specialty:
  Medical Surgical Neurology Floor
• Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts per week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid Illinois license, BLS and NIHSS certifications, at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Neurology, experience with telemetry remote monitoring, use of rapid response teams, gastrointestinal care including colostomy and feeding tube management, IV therapy skills including blood product administration and port access, neurological and psychiatric case experience including CVA, neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries, respiratory skills including chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen management, and tracheostomy care, proficiency with Cerner charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience in a teaching hospital setting and trauma Level II experience.
• Schedule:
  
  Day shifts, 12 hours, 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Must have active IL license, no more than 5 days RTO, no on-call requirement, and be willing to float as needed within scope.

Cross Country Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
