Position Summary:
Want to make a lot of people’s day? Our Member Frontline Cashier Associates are the heart of our front end. You play a major role in how our members feel in the club and when they leave. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that our members interact with. That’s why it’s so important to smile, greet, and thank each and every one.
We are looking for friendly faces to run registers and support our members through the self‑checkout experience! The pace can be really fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during a holiday season. There are times when you have to juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members: scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area—you get the idea!
It’s hard work, but our cashiers find it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

- Providing exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.

- Conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures; handle hazardous materials; comply with steel standard guidelines; report unsafe situations.
- Assume member service: acknowledge members, identify needs, assist purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues, promote products, and support self‑service technology.
- Process member purchases and payments following company policies; handle different membership and payment types.
- Assist members with registers or self‑checkout; zone the area; arrange and organize merchandise.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.
- Complete work assignments using policies, data, resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation: premiums from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum Qualifications- Customer Service experience.
- Retail experience operating front end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
