Brand and Sales Executive
Company: M&Z p.l.c.
The role of a Brand & Sales Executive involves working on a portfolio of brands, developing brand plans to drive sales across various channels, and collaborating closely with the company’s Logistics, Marketing and Sales teams to meet targets.
Responsibilities- Work hard to achieve and deliver the Sales & Gross Profit targets set by the Company.
- Adhere to marketing budgets and other work disciplines as advised by the Company.
- Accurately calculate Customs and Tariff charges, prepare product-costing and propose pricing structure including end prices to consumers based on realistic market conditions.
- Develop, grow, manage and expand the assigned Brand portfolio at the Company’s discretion.
- Prepare market reports on product performance and actively monitor competitive activity.
- Identify sourcing opportunities and assess potential of new products to enhance the Company’s interests.
- Carefully plan and execute market strategies to achieve defined Business objectives for the Brand portfolio.
- Develop, design and implement consumer marketing campaigns and liaise with internal teams.
- Identify opportunities and create strategies to address them within the market.
- Negotiate with customers to enhance brand presence within outlets.
- Work with market specialists to develop and implement in‑store promotions and merchandising requirements.
- Mentor, motivate and collaborate with the relevant sales teams.
- Supervise activities planned as part of the brand portfolio marketing campaigns (including weekends).
- Keep meticulous records and highlight any budget variances promptly.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend changes as required.
- Maintain and update online communications through social media channels.
- Promptly respond to online enquiries relevant to the Business.
- Assist in implementing other marketing activities, even if external to the portfolio.
- Perform any other related works as advised by the Employer from time to time.
- University standard of education or equivalent.
- Proven leadership skills.
- A people‑oriented individual committed to driving the sales team.
- Numerical aptitude and comfort with numbers.
- Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Maltese.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and draw conclusions.
- Smart appearance.
- Clean driving licence.
