The Chronic Care - Specialty Sales Representative is part of a nationwide sales team and drives customer engagement by identifying needs and delivering tailored solutions that support healthcare professionals with approved resources in a given territory. This role ensures effective execution of customer strategies while demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and mastery of core Field Sales competencies to achieve business impact.
Responsibilities- Develop new business opportunities with specialty physicians, small group practices, solo practices and other health service providers
- Present therapeutic products and creatively teach people about their usage
- Engage in meaningful dialogue that addresses the needs of the health provider and patient
- Build trust and credibility and become a true collaborator
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of the following equivalent experience:
- Professional sales experience
- Work experience in the healthcare/scientific field (including pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices) that is not sales related
- Professional marketing experience, or
- Military Experience
- 3+ Years of Pharmaceutical Sales Experience preferred
- Cardiovascular sales experience with established relationships with cardiologists and endocrinologists preferred
- Experience launching products and succeeding in competitive markets preferred
- Valid driver’s license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified (travel % varies based on candidate’s location within or near the territory)
