Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Ambassador!

Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard? What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail. As a Security Ambassador – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they expand in environments such as a security operations center, call center, parking gatehouse, and others.

• Site location:
  Decatur, IL
• Shift availability: 7 shifts available ($500 bonus if you have a current Perc License)
• Full‑time, rotating 1st shift (6 a.m.–6 p.m.)
• Full‑time, rotating 3rd shift (6 p.m.–6 a.m.)
• Part‑time fill‑in hours, could become full‑time
• Competitive hourly wage of $19.50 / hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees!)

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify identities of visitors.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report‑writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Experience in security, military, or law‑enforcement is a plus.
• State license, if required.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
