Mechanical Insulator/Scaffold Builder – The Kelly Group

Decatur, Illinois – The Kelly Group is looking for qualified candidates with 2‑3 years of experience in grain handling and/or processing environments.

• Install mechanical systems (including cutouts) on pipes, boilers and other industrial equipment.
• Measure, cut and shape insulation materials.
• Select appropriate insulation materials, including fiberglass, mineral wool and others.
• Utilize proper personal protective equipment as required.
• Work safely at heights and in extreme temperatures/harsh environments.
• Familiarity with wedge, rosette and frame scaffolding.
• Inspect for defects.

• Previous training as a competent person for scaffold erection.
• Carpentry skills.
