Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician. This role is ideal for skilled professionals with refrigeration and HVAC expertise who want to grow their careers in a stable, nationwide environment. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, and kitchen equipment while providing professional, customer-focused service.
In this role, you will
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, freezers, coolers)
- Service HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, and rack systems
- Install and service commercial kitchen hotside equipment (grills, fryers, ovens, steamers, kettles, dish machines)
- Perform preventative maintenance on client systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to resolution
- Complete accurate service documentation in company systems
- Maintain safe, organized job sites and uphold professional customer service standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of commercial refrigeration experience (required)
- HVAC/R experience required; hotside kitchen equipment experience strongly preferred
- Relevant certifications (EPA Type I/II/III or Universal, CFESA, Journeyman Electrician, etc.)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Comfortable operating a company van with limited visibility
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call rotation
- Must pass background check and drug screen
