Solar Installation Technician

Job Summary
As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a combination of technical skills and physical labor to contribute to the successful implementation of solar energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of solar panels on rooftops or ground-mounted systems
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and secure solar panels
• Follow schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for proper installation
• Work collaboratively with the installation team to ensure project completion
• Maintain a safe work environment on construction sites
• Operate a forklift for material handling when necessary

Experience

• Previous experience with electrical work or construction site experience is preferred
• Familiarity with using a voltmeter and reading blueprints
• Knowledge of commercial electrician practices is a plus
• Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Willingness to learn and build skills in solar panel installation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
