Base pay $18.00/hr – $20.00/hr.

• Lead a group of patrons 18 years old and up.
• Design the course to reflect the instructor’s area of expertise and certifications.
• Track class participants and assist in growing the practice.
• Maintain current certification and stay abreast of new developments and trends within the practice.
• Work cooperatively with students, staff, and community members; respect diversity issues.

• Current First Aid, CPR, AED certificate.
• Up‑to‑date certification of completion or upcoming enrollment in a First Aid, CPR, AED class.
• Approved certification in the area of expertise being instructed.

• At least one year of fitness instruction in a group setting.
• Knowledge of training principles for people of various ages and fitness abilities.
• Ability to communicate, educate, and motivate individuals; provide guidance on safe exercise methods.

• Instruct up to 60 minutes at a time; possibly multiple times per day.
