Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from customer worksites. This role typically drives a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in various conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.

• Deliver and recover equipment, tools and supplies to and from customer worksites
• Operate Class A truck with flatbed or lowboy trailers (dovetail, RGN/lowboy) in diverse environments
• Drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones
• Develop a career track and leverage current skills while developing new ones

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s license with CDL and acceptable driving record

• Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred
• Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment and vehicles at job sites
• Customer service attitude

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with applicable laws.

The hourly wage ($26.69 - $28.69) depends on the rate under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement for this location. Sunbelt also provides a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including:

You become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Paid time off includes: 12–25 vacation days (based on years of service), 5 sick days, 6 holidays, 2 half-day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, and 1 volunteer day, subject to Sunbelt policy and collective bargaining agreements.
