The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides daily resident care that is person-centered by customizing care as much as possible. The CNA takes into consideration each resident’s ability to make their own choices and have control over their daily lives. The CNA works under the direction of the LPN/RN and assists the nursing team in maintaining the nursing and resident units.
Responsibilities- Bathing, feeding, passing trays, making beds, assisting with ambulation
- Recording I/O, weights, and vital signs
- Charting any care given to the resident
- Following instructions issued by the physician or licensed nurse according to established policies and procedures
- 8 hours per week – First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Every other weekend
- Valid CNA License in the State of Indiana
- BLS/CPR Certification
