Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Relief Breeding Technician. Reporting to our local Technician Team Leader and working as a key member of our Alta Genetics USA Tech Services Inc., this role is responsible for providing heat detection and insemination services to assigned customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Accurately follow on-farm procedures as designated by each individual technician.
• Provide safe, efficient, and successful insemination of customer herds.
• Collaborate with farm management and other advisors (Vet, Nutritionist, etc.) to integrate Alta Genetics services into farm management plans.
• Ensure accurate data entry and protocol adherence.
• Provide timely reports upon request.
• Respond promptly to information requests.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Continuously develop skills and participate in ongoing training.
• Implement and comply with company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in bovine reproduction, artificial insemination, and dairy herd management.
• Background in Animal Science, Veterinary, or Zootechnical Medicine preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and reliably on a flexible schedule.
