Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant supports clinical operations by assisting providers with patient care, managing exam room readiness, and helping maintain smooth patient flow. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist providers with patient exams and procedures
  • Take vital signs and document accurate patient information
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as EKGs, point‑of‑care testing, and specimen collection
  • Administer medications as directed (where permitted)
  • Schedule appointments and manage overall patient flow
  • Update and maintain medical records
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Handle front‑desk tasks including check‑in, check‑out, and phone calls
Required Experience:
  • Experience providing hands‑on clinical support in a healthcare setting
  • Background performing vital signs, EKGs, or point‑of‑care testing
  • Experience with medical documentation or EMR systems
Nice‑to‑Have

Experience:
  • Front‑desk or administrative experience in a clinic or medical office
  • Prior experience assisting multiple providers in a fast‑paced environment
