Job Overview

Ensure food is cooked according to established standards to provide optimal customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare all food items as per standard recipes or guest orders.

Check and control proper storage of products and portion sizes.

Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of refrigeration, storage, and work areas.

Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, using math skills to follow recipes accurately.

Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to meet health standards.

Keep floors dry and clean to prevent slips and falls.

Perform other duties such as moving supplies, equipment, and cleaning spills as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of server experience in a similar role; experience in a comparable operation preferred.
Hotel experience is a plus.
Food Handlers Certification required.
