This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:
* Manage functionality, configuration, efficiency, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers, including lab environments.

* Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnostics using enterprise tools such as Nagios, Solar Winds, or similar.

* Execute and manage software updates, OS patching, and vendor-supplied upgrades.

* Automate repetitive tasks using Power Shell, Bash, or Python scripting.

* Support network interface configuration and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

* Conduct systems analysis and proactively maintain systems with evolving technologies.

* Implement and promote security compliance procedures and best practices.

* Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system logs.

* Collaborate cross-functionally to isolate and resolve server issues impacting integrated services.

* Participate in disaster recovery, backup management, and system performance optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:

* U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.

* Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required at time of hire (U.S. Citizenship required).

* Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.

* Experience in server and network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

* Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.

* Proficient in automation scripting (Power Shell, Bash, Python) and use of system monitoring tools.
