Wayfair is hiring for an Operations & Visual Specialist at All Modern retail store in Dedham, MA. The role focuses on delivering an authentic, customer‑focused experience, managing inventory, and supporting both visual merchandising and operational goals to drive sales.

• Provide an authentic, friendly customer experience that exemplifies Wayfair’s commitment to relentless customer focus.
• Manage, maintain, and monitor stock levels; receive and process merchandise, ensuring items are properly stored and easily located for replenishment on the sales floor.
• Coach and support Operations/Visual Associates and oversee their workload; help open or close the store and manage keyholder responsibilities, as determined by the Store Leader.
• Support associates to drive exceptional customer service and maintain a strong visible presence in the designated work area.
• Assist Store Leaders in training and developing associates on product knowledge, selling, customer service, operations, visual, and related aspects of their roles.
• Provide observation feedback and guidance to associates to aid their growth and performance.
• Execute visual merchandising tasks such as maintaining visual standards, floor sets, window changes, signage placement, lighting installations, basic electrical wiring, and wallpapering as needed.
• Utilize sales analytics tools to drive store profitability and growth in a way that supports the overall brand’s success.
• Drive sales in the store by asking insightful questions, understanding customer needs, guiding them through options, and providing product suggestions—both in-store and via Wayfair’s online assortment.
• Assist walk‑ins on the sales floor and in the design studio as needed.
• Share innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve team operations.
• Engage in a high‑energy, focused, dynamic work environment where products, promotions, offerings, and operations change rapidly.

• 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in home or furnishing space; interior design, furniture, or home goods experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute a sales floor design layout map or basic planogram; experience preferred.
• Basic electrical wiring experience preferred.
• Experience in visual merchandising—lighting installs, wallpapering, furniture assembly preferred.
• Passion for great customer service, operational excellence, and efficiency to meet company goals.
• Track record of thriving in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Strong organization, self‑motivation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to handle customer escalations and demonstrate professional maturity.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English to ensure safety and team safety.

• Frequently stand, walk, talk and hear; handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms; occasionally sit; regularly climb or balance; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach overhead.
• Regularly, frequently, or occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to ascend/descend a ladder (minimum 10 ft).
• Ability to use a variety of hand‑held tools (wire cutters, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammer, measuring tape, leveler, drill).
• Ability to use basic electrical wiring associated with lighting installation.
