Position: Full-Time Instructional Resource Teacher Position
Join Xavier Junior High as a Full-Time Instructional Resource Teacher starting September 8, 2026. Focus on individualized programming to support students' diverse needs in a collaborative setting.

In this term role, you will develop tailored instructional plans that promote both academic success and social-emotional development. Work alongside families and fellow educators to cultivate an inclusive learning environment through the effective implementation of teaching strategies. This position will run until June 25, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational programs

• Conduct academic interventions to meet student needs

• Foster partnerships with families and the community

• Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment

• Reflect on teaching practices for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education plus Special Education degree or equivalency

• Level IV NL Teaching Certificate or higher

• Solid understanding of learner development

• Familiarity with diverse assessment techniques

• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development
