Direct Support Professional-Per Diem

Overview

We are seeking per diem staff to cover overnights (11pm-7am) on weekdays and weekends, and daytime shifts (3pm-11pm) to support our community residence in Deer Park. Child Care Workers will assist and supervise youth ages 12-21, promoting the overall wellbeing of the participants.

• Assist with ADL routines including house jobs, room chores, wake‑ups, lights‑out, laundry, and cooking.
• Supervise individual and group activities such as trips, sporting events, and crafts.
• Uphold behavior management system elements, including restriction system, negotiations, and a repertoire of confrontation techniques.
• Attend to educational, vocational, health, and mental health needs.
• Model positive behavior and confront negative behavior appropriately.
• Commit to creating a safe, orderly, and caring environment, supporting the mission of the program.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).
• Strong belief in the ability of others to grow and change.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
