What You'll DoAs a Administrative Assistant you'll be at the forefront of our innovation of being responsible for providing administrative support to the Production Organization as well as coordinating other plant-wide services. The Administrative Assistant will report to the Production Leader.
What We're Looking For- Support Production with purchasing requisitions and vendor invoices for blanket POs for Utilities, Loading Rack, Soap, Ammonia, Hard goods (such as forklifts, refrigerators, heaters, weather stations), etc.
- Order and track office and safety supplies for the Production Organization.
- Coordinate services and supplies with several vendors for the site.
- Assist with Production procedure revisions.
- Plan, implement, and/or assist with employee engagement events.
- Assist with meeting planning and set-up.
- Administer conference room scheduling.
- Assist with production reporting and KPI tracking.
- Support ad hoc production accounting activities.
- Provide tactical administrative support.
- Work within a chemical plant environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required.
- 3+ years of related experience in industry.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, Visio, and Outlook is helpful.
- Other skills required are good communicator (written and verbal), organizational and mathematical skills, unbiased reasoning, the ability to be a collaborator, view issues from different perspectives, maintain confidentiality, and exercise good judgment.
- Advanced degree is a plus but not required
