Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager
Our client is looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Deer Park! In this role, you’ll support all areas of Human Resources with a strong focus on recruiting and hiring top talent, while also helping with onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations. You’ll be joining a well-established industrial services provider with a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and excellence in the field.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage recruitment process: post jobs, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and attend career fairs.
- Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and training initiatives.
- Assist with employee relations and help resolve concerns with professionalism and compliance.
- Support HR operations, including benefits, leave processes (FMLA, STD/LTD, ADA), and employee lifecycle activities.
- Manage compliance programs such as E-Verify, EEO-1 reporting, and labor law postings.
· Conduct and document employee relations investigations.
· Support and guide ADA accommodations, including managing the interactive process.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
- Conduct 30-, 60-, 90-day and exit interviews.
- Collaborate with managers to refine job descriptions and define hiring needs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
- Own onboarding and offboarding processes with a focus on compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar HR role REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field PREFERRED
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or CA-specific) is a PLUS
- Bilingual is a PLUS
