Corporate Controller

INSPYR Solutions is partnered with an oilfield services company in Deer Park to hire a Corporate Controller for their team. This position is onsite and will be responsible for managing the entire accounting department and processes.

We’re looking for a results-driven Controller to lead and enhance our accounting operations. In this key leadership role, you'll oversee the full scope of accounting functions and play a strategic part in financial planning and organizational decision-making.

• Lead and manage daily accounting operations across general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and all relevant tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Develop, refine, and enforce internal controls, operational processes, and department KPIs
• Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to inform strategic financial decisions
• Oversee the creation and management of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Provide regular financial reporting and insights to the CFO
• Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
• Drive initiatives to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support growth
• Lead recruitment, training, and retention efforts within the accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 7+ years in a leadership capacity
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and standard accounting practices
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams
• Demonstrated success in process optimization and driving organizational change
• Strong attention to detail with a systems and process mindset
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Proficient in accounting systems and ERP software;
  Epicor experience is a plus
• CPA is strongly preferred
