Location: Deer Park, Texas, United States
Assist with all facets of product manufacturing, coordinate shipping and delivery activities, ensure that chemical products are manufactured to specifications and delivered on time, provide inventory and quality-related documentation, and resolve manufacturing anomalies.
Responsibilities- Assist with all activities of the FQE Chemicals manufacturing division, supporting chemical manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance of manufactured products with defined specifications.
- Support the acquisition and management of goods and supplies, including chemicals, equipment, and safety items.
- Monitor and report safety trends, ensuring compliance with company safety policies.
- Interface with company staff to develop projects, manufacture products, and resolve customer concerns.
- Provide technical support to operations, technical, and sales staff as required.
- Help establish and maintain supplier and vendor relationships for manufacturing needs.
- Adhere to and support company practices and policies in accordance with requirements.
- Collaborate with Research and Development to develop specifications for chemicals and supplies.
- Monitor the quality of supplied goods and report non‑conformances to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Participate in management programs and company quality audits.
- Maintain control and confidentiality of quality‑related documentation.
- Assist with internal audits, corrective actions, and accident/near‑miss investigations.
- Perform other duties as defined by management.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a chemical blending background.
- Functional understanding of chemical manufacturing activities.
- Knowledge of organic chemistry, detergent and surfactant applications is highly desirable.
- In‑depth knowledge of upstream, mid‑stream, downstream, and petrochemical processes.
