SVI Assembler – Baker Hughes

SVI Assembler role at Baker Hughes. Our team works with state‑of‑the‑art Turbo machinery & Process Solutions that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy. We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity. The team is responsible for the assembly of high‑quality and innovative products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
  • The use of forklifts and other departmental equipment, machines, hand tools and power tools needed for assembly.
  • Ensure test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria
  • Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards
  • Monitors and applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools
  • Providing technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer’s sites
  • Desire to lead others in work efforts.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2–3 years’ experience. Successful completion of welding tests and qualifications. Have relevant experience working in Energy and/or Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals instrumentation and/or process control
  • Experience in SVI 2 assembly line and additional lines as legacy instrumentation
  • Good mechanical background
