Lead Project LDAR Technician

Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $30.00/hr

HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is looking for a Project Lead LDAR Technician to join our safety-conscious team at various customer sites. The role involves using an analyzer and electronic data recorder to monitor components on an assigned route within industrial facilities, calibrating equipment for optimal performance, identifying leaks, and processing leak tags. The Project Lead LDAR Technician ensures compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining excellent customer relationships through timely, quality industrial cleaning services.

• Ensuring that Health & Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
• Set up and operate automatic and/or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make adjustments and repairs to equipment.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and as required by the needs of the HPC Industrial business.

• Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment, including, but not limited to, Nomex coveralls, a back belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask & escape pack & a hard hat.
• Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+ degrees Fahrenheit, 98% humidity & subzero weather conditions) relative to geographic location.
• Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, chemicals, environment emissions, fumes, exhaust, and highly pressurized fluids.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
• TWIC, required
• Travel 85%+
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) waste codes, manifesting & Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) (preferred).
• Confined space entry & 40 Hour OSHA Training (preferred).
• Knowledge of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements/regulations (preferred).
• Strong mechanical ability.

Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to the base salary, some roles may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
