Sales Development Rep/SDR
We're seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team and help expand the adoption of Optelos, our cutting‑edge visual data management and AI analytics platform for industrial asset inspections. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of transforming how organizations conduct and analyze inspections across cell tower infrastructure, power utilities, and commercial facilities.
This is a full‑time position. 50% remote, 50% based in Optelos’ Deer Park, TX office.
What You'll DoAs an Inside Sales Representative, you'll drive revenue growth by converting inbound leads and proactively identifying new business opportunities in our target markets. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, demonstrating how Optelos solves their most pressing asset inspection and analysis challenges.
Core Responsibilities- Lead qualification and conversion of incoming sales inquiries through consultative selling approaches that uncover customer needs and business objectives.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations that showcase Optelos’ visual data management capabilities and AI‑powered analytics, tailoring each presentation to address specific industry pain points and use cases.
- Proactively develop new business through outreach to target accounts in telecommunications, utilities, and commercial facility sectors. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using disciplined sales processes and CRM best practices.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation, quotation, and close, collaborating with technical teams and leadership to address complex requirements and ensure customer success.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking in Hub Spot, providing regular reporting on pipeline health, conversion metrics, and market insights.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record selling B2B SaaS solutions with demonstrated success meeting or exceeding quota. You understand subscription‑based business models and can articulate value propositions that resonate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with Hub Spot CRM (or similar CRM) for pipeline management, activity tracking, and sales reporting. Comfortable leveraging sales technology to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value. Build rapport quickly and establish credibility with diverse audiences.
- Self‑motivated and results‑oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with drone‑based inspection workflows, digital twin technology, or computer vision AI applications. Understanding of how these technologies are transforming asset inspection and maintenance operations.
- Experience selling into telecommunications infrastructure, electric utilities, or commercial facility management sectors.
- Background in field service, industrial asset management, or inspection technology markets.
