Senior Accountant

Our client is a growing Real Estate company in Broward County. They are an outstanding business experiencing strong growth and are offering an excellent opportunity for candidates to grow organically within the organization while gaining exposure to multiple accounting functions. They are now looking for a Senior Accountant
.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $70k - $80k

The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. This role also offers exposure to financial planning and analysis through close collaboration with management.

• Perform general accounting duties.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed.
• Prepare financial statements and related accounting reports.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare and post adjusting journal entries.
• Handle billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with large data sets.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
