Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager serves as the primary accounting lead for multiple locations within a designated territory. This role oversees month-end close activities, ensures compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, reviews financial results, analyzes variances, and maintains balance sheet reconciliations to support accurate and timely reporting.

• Lead and support daily accounting operations and month-end close processes.
• Review and prepare journal entries related to cash, accounts receivable, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile high-volume cash, receivables, and liability accounts to the general ledger.
• Perform treasury-related activities, including ACH and check processing reviews.
• Analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement results, identify variances, and prepare necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate and support external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and requested documentation.
• Assist internal teams and customers with accounting-related inquiries.
• Ensure timely and professional handling of customer correspondence.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and segregation of duties.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and participate in special projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with modern cloud-based ERP platforms is a plus.
