Base Pay Range$63,240.00 per year – $74,623.00 per year.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a proactive sales effort with the group business, leisure market, social, military, educational, religious, fraternal and sports market segments.
- Oversee advertising and promotional initiatives and contribute to overall revenue‑generating efforts of the hotels, maximizing hotel profitability and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Drive sales, exceed 100% RGI, and achieve budgeted total hotel revenue expectations at multiple locations.
- Handle inquiry calls and monitor the efficient flow of paperwork for confirming function details to clients.
- Solicit new and repeat guest room and event business, maintain a client base of key accounts and conventions.
- Determine client and guest needs, make outside sales calls, conduct on‑site inspections, and evaluate potential business opportunities for profitability.
- Represent the hotel in community affairs and industry‑related events, maintain accurate sales records, database, and reports.
- Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses, maximize profitability of the sales department, and fully understand STR Report and other key industry metrics.
- Lead, motivate and delegate to the sales team.
- Professional demeanor, warm and welcoming personality, and ability to engage easily and actively connect with others.
- Genuinely caring, compassionate, and comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds at all organizational levels.
- Clear and professional language in communication.
- Two or more years of hotel experience (required).
- Ability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
