Construction Estimator

We are partnered with a reputable South Florida construction company seeking an Estimator specializing in Roofing, Concrete, and General Construction. Our client is looking for a professional who will be instrumental in project planning and execution by delivering precise cost projections and implementing robust cost management strategies. Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications.

• Develop comprehensive cost projections for roofing, concrete restoration, and general construction projects, encompassing labor, materials, equipment, and indirect expenses.
• Review architectural drawings and project specifications to identify scope and requirements.
• Work closely with project managers and engineering staff to obtain essential information for precise pricing.
• Perform on-site evaluations to examine conditions and collect estimation data.
• Track project expenditures during the construction phase to maintain budget compliance.
• Offer continuous guidance to project teams on cost management strategies and financial oversight.

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the construction sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction management methodologies and standards.
• Superior analytical capabilities with proficiency in reading and interpreting complex architectural drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a collaborative team across concurrent projects.
• Thorough understanding of cost management techniques and best practices in the construction field is required.
• Current knowledge of Florida Building Code requirements is mandatory.
