Our firm provides design build, value engineering services, general construction, construction management and pre-construction consulting throughout South Florida.

DC Construction Associates, Inc. is looking for experienced full-time Superintendent
. Project locations vary. We service the tri-county area:
Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

The ideal candidate will confidently manage all aspects of construction site operations. We’re looking for a Commercial Superintendent with a strong track record in interior renovations and ground up projects. They must demonstrate strong abilities in identifying and proactively addressing potential risks to ensure the ongoing safety and efficiency of the project site. Responsible for multiple projects being completed on time, within budget and to contract.

Monitor field supervision by directives, inspections, meetings and reviews. Scheduling and coordinating with all trades to run projects smoothly, efficiently and on budget per the plans and specifications. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Make recommendations to management regarding proposed and existing projects.

Great communication with Project Manager is a must.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction
• Planning and scheduling all trades
• Manage subcontractors and construction site organization
• Oversee daily operation of construction project
• Supervision of all Trades
• Shop drawing review
• Produce and update project schedule to Project Manager
• Quality control
• Project closeout
• Safety and loss prevention
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Inspections
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers
• Additional Duties
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Project. Salary to commensurate with experience. Benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent with strong supervisory skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Expertise in project scheduling and field management.
• Ability to read blueprints, elevations, densities, schematics, along with experience quality control.
