We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who shares our commitment to clinical excellence, patient education, and compassionate care. Position SummaryAs a Registered Dental Hygienist at Alencar Dental, you will play an important role in our patients' overall oral health. You will provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining optimal oral and periodontal health, and work closely with the dental team to support the clinical philosophy of the Owner Dentist.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will:
- Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care in alignment with the clinical philosophy and standards of the Owner Dentist.
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, periodontal assessments, and other services within the scope of your Florida license.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, periodontal health, preventive care, and the connection between oral health and overall health.
- Develop strong relationships with patients and create a welcoming, comfortable, and positive experience.
- Listen to and address individual patient concerns while ensuring patient comfort throughout treatment.
- Review and document medical and dental histories accurately and maintain complete, up-to-date patient records.
- Utilize technology and diagnostic tools effectively, including Schik digital X-rays, Dentsply S11 CBCT, Primescan, iTero, and Eaglesoft.
- Communicate relevant clinical findings and patient concerns effectively with the dentist and dental team.
- Stay current with advancements, techniques, technology, and best practices in dental hygiene through continuing education and ongoing training.
- Actively participate in team meetings, training, and practice initiatives to support shared goals and continuous improvement.
- Follow all company policies, OSHA requirements, HIPAA regulations, Florida dental regulations, and other applicable standards.
- Represent and embody the values and culture of Alencar Dental in every patient and team interaction.
- Current Florida Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- 2–3+ years of dental hygiene experience preferred/required.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Dental hygiene procedures and preventive care
- Periodontal health and assessment
- Dental patient screening
- Medical and dental history documentation
- Patient education
- Experience with Eaglesoft and electronic dental/medical record systems.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient care, education, and clinical excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Fluency or conversational proficiency in English, Portuguese, and/or Spanish is a plus.
