Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials — including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration.
We are currently seeking an Architectural Advisor to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the design community by developing AIA CES presentations, updating CSI specifications, and providing technical guidance to our Architectural Sales group. You’ll help maintain our architectural resources, track industry updates, and deliver presentations internally and externally.
- Develop, maintain, and submit AIA CES presentations for learning-credit approval.
- Align program updates with TCNA Handbook revisions, industry trends, and internal best practices.
- Create and update PowerPoint programs supporting MAPEI product lines; maintain the AIA CES presentation library.
- Write and update project and product specifications in CSI format; assist in maintaining the MAPEI Master Specification.
- Provide advanced technical support to the Architectural Sales team; support use of architectural tools.
- Deliver presentations through in-person sessions and webinars.
- Create and update sectional detail drawings using appropriate 2‑D/3‑D software.
- Review and approve warranties, technical documents, and literature for the design community.
- Field technical inquiries from architects, designers, consultants, and contractors.
- Share qualified leads with the Sales team and support CRM contact accuracy.
- Represent MAPEI on assigned industry committees and participate in ongoing training.
- Adhere to all MAPEI policies, safety rules, and work procedures.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in AutoCAD, Autodesk, or similar 2‑D/3‑D modeling software preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in architecture, remodeling/construction, building products, flooring installation, construction chemicals, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of guide specifications and the ability to support Architectural Sales and design professionals.
- Industry education and certification programs a plus.
- Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Experience with AIA CES programs and CSI specifications preferred.
- Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.
