Infrastructure Program Manager

Insight Global’s client is a top marine communications provider servicing both government and commercial customers. As the team grows, an additional Program/Project Manager position has opened. The role is 5 days a week onsite in Deerfield Beach, FL and requires eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

• Oversee the engineering project portfolio.
• Work on multiple projects of moderate to large size, using time efficiently to stay within budget and meet delivery timelines.
• Develop design elements for engineering projects, systems, components, and systems with team members, setting clear objectives involving plans, surveys, investigations, structures, and equipment.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with contract requirements and support overall schedule, scope, and budget.
• Deliver all projects on‑time and within scope.
• Prepare complete project documentation, including plans, specifications, and engineer estimates, and organize project data.
• Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to assignments; formulate and solve problems.
• Prepare and conduct meetings with internal teams to plan and track deliverables.
• Work cross‑functionally and influence teams such as Engineering, Production, Sales, Project Management, Quality, and Procurement to improve deployment efficiency.
• Interpret contract specifications and resolve conflicts with stakeholders, including specification interpretation and related matters.
• Participate in customer meetings, resolving client, engineering, and management project issues.
• Maintain a list of project milestones and in‑progress issues.
• Assess and communicate project status, escalating potential risks and delays across multiple teams.
• Identify standard work gaps, lessons learned, and propose continuous improvement to drive global deployment scalability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical background in electrical, mechanical, systems, or related engineering.
• At least 6–10+ years of project/program management experience.
• Comfortable being hands‑on.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite 5 days a week in Deerfield Beach, FL.

• PMP certification.
• Preferred additional education or certifications.
• Shipboard integrated communications experience or other communications experience (radars, etc.).
• Experience with Marine Communications Systems (Telephone Systems, Public Address, Alarms, etc.).
• Federal or Military experience.
