Monitor Technician-Surg/Tele – $2,500 Sign On bonus – Full‑time – Broward Health
OverviewObserves electrocardiogram (ECG) monitors and closed‑circuit televisions (CCTV), and notifies nurses and physicians of changes to patient rate and rhythm. Provides telemetry monitoring and documents cardiac rhythm of patients.
Location & ShiftBroward Health North, Shift 1. FTE: 0.9.
Responsibilities- Monitor ECG and telemetry equipment.
- Document cardiac rhythm and patient changes.
- Notify nursing and medical staff of patient rate and rhythm changes.
- Operate closed‑circuit television (CCTV) as required.
- Tech/Trade Certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Arrhythmia Course – preferred.
- Heartsaver CPR/AED – required.
- Under one year of experience.
