OverviewJoin us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader to provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You will lead customer-centric teams, accelerate the seasonal tax business, and support office growth objectives across multiple offices. This role is in-person and starts with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall, transitioning to full-time from January to April with possible evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and development of associates across three tax offices
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates
- Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders
- Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets
- Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement
- Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
- Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with the Associate Relations Center
- Build an engaging team environment through training and coaching
- Create associate work schedules across all offices and manage timekeeping and labor
- Travel between offices as required
- Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment*
- People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates
- Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading a growth-focused culture
- Strong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)*
