Production Assembler

The Production Assembler is responsible for assembly of product to bill of materials. Work involves ability to follow directions and work with limited supervision.

• Receives work orders and plans details of working procedure and tools.
• Supplies own tools.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Assembles HVACR and associated hardware per bill of materials and work instructions.
• Performs some electrical wiring if candidate qualifications permit.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Strong technical and mechanical skills and experience required; product knowledge helpful.
• Ability to write and present information clearly to co-workers.
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to read, write and understand assembly instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical training in electrical and mechanical is helpful.
• Minimum one year of related experience and/or training.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 70 pounds.
