Base pay range$20.00/hr - $28.00/hr
OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Deerfield Beach, FL. If you have a passion for precision machining and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality aerospace/aircraft components that meet our specifications while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using various measuring tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure longevity and efficiency.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience setting up and operating multi-axis, CNC lathes.
- Experience with CNC lathes, such as Doosan, DMG Mori, and Okuma.
- Experience with holding very tight tolerances, i.e. +/- .0005".
- Setting up OD, , and live milling tools.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with various measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive attitude.
