Job Summary

Server Assistants at Amante's provide seamless support to servers by ensuring tables are set, cleared, and properly maintained throughout service. They deliver exceptional hospitality by anticipating guest needs, assisting with food and drink delivery, and keeping the dining area clean and organized. As part of the team, they help create an elevated and memorable dining experience in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Table Setup and Maintenance:
    Prepare tables with proper settings and ensure cleanliness before and during service.
  • Food and Beverage Support:
    Assist servers in delivering food and drinks promptly and accurately.
  • Clearing and Resetting Tables:
    Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils, and reset tables quickly for the next guests.
  • Guest Assistance:
    Provide water service, refill beverages, and respond to guest requests as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Organization:
    Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
  • Team Support:
    Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Restocking Supplies:
    Replenish silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments to keep stations fully stocked.
  • Communication:
    Relay guest requests or concerns to servers or managers promptly.
  • Compliance:
    Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Positive Attitude:
    Uphold Eddie & Vinny’s high standards of hospitality with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The work that Server assistants do is both physically and mentally demanding. They are on their feet much of the time. Servers must work well under pressure and exercise tact and patience when dealing with employees and customers.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific sensory abilities required by this job include sight, taste, smell, and hearing.

While performing the duties of this job, hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns.
