Description

As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks.

You will be an essential part of the team, ensuring that every customer has an enjoyable experience while visiting our lobby cafe. You will use your creative skills to create delicious coffee drinks, while providing consistently high-quality service. You will have the opportunity to interact with customers, build relationships and help create a positive atmosphere in the cafe. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy interacting with customers and have the drive to provide an excellent customer experience, then this is the role for you!

Requirements

Job Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and smoothies.
  • Follow instructions for preparing drinks to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Receive payments and process transactions using a cash register.
  • Keep work areas clean and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Follow food safety procedures when preparing drinks and food items.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
  • Knowledge of coffee and espresso drinks
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Ability to take directions and work well with others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle money accurately
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to stay focused
