Responsibilities include:- Communicating all kitchen issues with management throughout the day
- Reading and writing notes in the manager’s daily log in English
- Attending weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
- Reading the weekly memo
- Completing weekly/monthly employee evaluations
- Communicating with all m.o.d. when shift is completed
- Providing honest reports of events, both positive and negative
- Complying with all policies, rules, and directions in manuals, memos, and meetings
- Attending quarterly supervisor meetings
- Having current food management certification
- Demonstrating an ownership mentality
- Having flexibility for scheduling, as Flanigan’s is open 365 days per year
- Willingness to transfer to different locations
- Possessing a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Scheduling vacations between April and November; must take or forfeit
- Ordering and formulating pars
- Basic math skills: counting currency, using a calculator
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding health code standards
- Conducting timely interviews and issuing performance evaluations
- Seeing, speaking clearly, listening, tasting, and smelling
- Reading and writing in English
- Standing, moving at a moderate pace for up to 4 hours, working 50-55 hours per week
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Bending, stooping, squatting, or crawling
- Operating kitchen equipment with coordination
- Adhering to dress and grooming policies
