• Communicating all kitchen issues with management throughout the day
• Reading and writing notes in the manager’s daily log in English
• Attending weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings
• Reading the weekly memo
• Completing weekly/monthly employee evaluations
• Communicating with all m.o.d. when shift is completed
• Providing honest reports of events, both positive and negative
• Complying with all policies, rules, and directions in manuals, memos, and meetings
• Attending quarterly supervisor meetings
• Having current food management certification
• Demonstrating an ownership mentality
• Having flexibility for scheduling, as Flanigan’s is open 365 days per year
• Willingness to transfer to different locations
• Possessing a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Scheduling vacations between April and November; must take or forfeit
• Ordering and formulating pars
• Basic math skills: counting currency, using a calculator
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding health code standards
• Conducting timely interviews and issuing performance evaluations
• Seeing, speaking clearly, listening, tasting, and smelling
• Reading and writing in English
• Standing, moving at a moderate pace for up to 4 hours, working 50-55 hours per week
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, stooping, squatting, or crawling
• Operating kitchen equipment with coordination
• Adhering to dress and grooming policies
