Now Hiring - Full Time - Armed Security Officers - Deerfield Beach
$17.00-$18.00 p/hr
Armed security officers must have their own firearm, duty belt and Level 3 holster

- Deter criminal activity and misconduct
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
- Patrol the interior of and exterior of the buildings to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions
- Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized persons by calling police, fire departments and/or local emergency response teams
- Ensures reports, records and other documentation is accurate and complete, and submitted in a timely manner
- Responds to unusual or emergency situations at client's site using the appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response by following established protocol
- Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons
- Other job duties to be determined by the manager
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school degree or GED
- Valid Security D-G Licenses
- Valid FL Driver's License
- Basic computer skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Minimum of 3 year customer service experience required
- Minimum of 3 years armed security experience required
- Approved firearm, duty belt and Level 3 holster
- Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug)
- This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
