DescriptionWarehouse Forklift Operators master the maneuvering of industrial powered equipment to move cases and pallets within Publix Distribution warehouses. Responsibilities include moving product from the receiving dock to reserve locations, replenishing pick locations, rotating inventory using the oldest‑in‑first‑out method, maintaining a clean warehouse, sweeping empty slots, and occasionally filling in for Warehouse Selectors or other positions as business needs demand.
Base Pay Range$40,000.00/yr – $55,000.00/yr
Qualifications- At least 18 years old
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
- Successfully complete a Work Attitude Survey
- Obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations on or before start date
- Ability to lift a minimum of 67 pounds (85 pounds in Boxed Meat/Dairy Warehouse)
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
- Operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of body exposed outside operator compartment
- Stack product of varying weights
- Work under strict time requirements
- Read, write, and identify and verify numbers
- Interpret, understand, and follow instructions

Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November: 15 hours of pay in the first year of continuous employment, one week’s pay in the second year if employed through the issue date, and two weeks’ pay in subsequent years.

Boxed Meat/Dairy Warehouse temperatures range 28–35°F;
Frozen Food Warehouse temperatures range ‑20°F to 0°F;
Produce Warehouse temperatures range 35–55°F, with wet conditions.
