Job SummaryResponsible for developing demand plans for major account categories such as Cough/Cold, Cosmetics, and vendors like P&G, J&J. Tasks include understanding demand, forecasting for replenishment, promotional sales, new items, and ensuring forecast accuracy. Also involves managing procurement from vendors, tracking purchase orders, inventory distribution, and maintaining high customer service levels.
Job Responsibilities- Develop initial forecast models based on historical data and causal factors.
- Evaluate promotional impacts and recommend strategies to meet margin and profit goals.
- Understand category dynamics including seasonality, trends, and sales objectives.
- Create forecasts at various levels and collaborate via S&OP processes.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams for planning and execution.
- Manage vendor relationships, purchase orders, and inventory levels.
- Analyze promotional and new item impacts on sales forecasts.
- Address stock issues and work on inventory optimization.
- Utilize reports and create ad hoc analyses to identify opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years retail/wholesale planning OR High School + 5 years experience.
- Operational negotiation experience impacting delivery, purchasing, and stock levels.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and forecasting techniques.
- Data analysis skills for identifying trends and issues.
- Leadership experience (1+ year).
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
- Bachelor’s Degree + 4 years experience OR High School + 7 years experience.
- Master’s Degree in Supply Chain or MBA.
- Supply Chain certifications (P.Log, CSCMP, APICS).
- Experience with S&OP processes and statistical modeling.
