GPS Portfolio Strategy and Governance

For our client, we are seeking a GPS Portfolio Strategy and Governance to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape and govern a large-scale portfolio of strategic initiatives that support enterprise priorities across the healthcare organization. The selected individual will translate strategy into an actionable roadmap, align cross-functional teams, and create the visibility needed to drive execution and accountability.

A strong mix of portfolio leadership, financial discipline, and executive communication will be essential to accelerate decision-making and deliver measurable outcomes. The position also calls for deep experience in prioritization, risk management, and benefits tracking across complex work streams. In addition, the leader will help optimize resources, strengthen governance forums, and partner closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the portfolio remains focused on the highest-value opportunities.

Deerfield, IL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $232,000 – $319,000 annually

• Translate strategy into a multi-year portfolio roadmap with clear outcomes and milestones.
• Apply 80/20 principles to optimize portfolio initiatives and redirect resources to high-return priorities.
• Design and lead governance for a large enterprise portfolio, including risk management and executive reporting.
• Establish decision criteria and milestones for product and SKU rationalization governance.
• Define and track financial and operational benefits to ensure accountability and action closure.
• Lead portfolio reviews and governance forums to increase transparency and accelerate decision-making.
• Orchestrate cross-functional work streams and manage dependencies to align initiatives with enterprise priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in enterprise portfolio management, transformation, or operational excellence.
• Experience governing complex portfolios with prioritization, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Strong knowledge of 80/20 methodology and Lean and Six Sigma.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps with financial acumen.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in people leadership and talent development.
